Roshan Ahuja popularly known as Shiney Ahuja is considered to be one the upcoming stars of Bollywood. He was born on 15th May, 1973 and is the son of an army commander. His birth place is Delhi. Since his father was in the defense forces, he had the ambition of becoming an armed officer. But he became an actor and definitely a popular one. He was attracted in theatre and got the opportunity to join Barry John’s acting school in Delh before which he had studied in the Army Public School, Dhaula Kaun, New Delhi. Shiney had done modeling and appeared in many commercials before he actually set foot in the Bollywood circuit. Shiney Ahuja has even appeared in a music video for the band Stereo Nation.

It was with the film ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ that Shiney Ahuja made his debut. The film was directed by the much acclaimed director Sudhir Mishra and had Chitrangada Singh and Kay Kay Menon in the lead. This movie was highly appreciated critically and Shiney also received praises for his performance. This movie was shown at very various film festivals in 2003 and was released in theatres in 2005. The film was viewed as one of the best films of the year and also fetched Shiney the ‘Filmfare Best Male Debut’ award. Shiney started acting in the mainstream films with the movie ‘Karam’ in 2005. He starred together with John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. The film ‘Gangster’ directed by Mahesh Bhatt made Shiney Ahuja very much popular. The other noted films of Shiney are; ‘Woh Lamhe’; ‘Life In A….Metro’; and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’.

Bipasha Basu, a Bengali bell born in New Delhi nurtured in Kolkata breaks into the world stage leading a dream life . She is the aspiration of thousands of teenagers in this country.

Upen Patel – Top Indian Model

This British born Indian model has been creating waves ever since he entered the glamour industry. Born on August 16, 1980, Upen Patel is raised in London city of United Kingdom. He was a student of Wembley High School. From Hertfordshire he got his degree in Computer Science. His mother is lawyer of government in Britain. When he was sighted by a photographer in Britain, he was offered his first modeling assignment.
In India he walked the ramp in the India-fashion week for the first time. Upen ahs become a sought after model. He has walked the ramp for ‘Vogue’ magazine for ‘Daminis’ held at Kensington roof Gardens which was covered by ‘Asian Woman & Bride’ magazine, it was also filmed for Zee tv. The others ramp show are for ‘Bernanaini’ held at the Nehru Centre for Sony Entertainment Television, Bangla Tv fashion special, Selfridges Fashion Show for Bollywood Season.
The advertising brands he has modeled for are Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and Zegna. He has even featured in a remix video of a classic song Bollywood ‘Kya Khoob Lagti Ho’ ,the song also featured Udita Goswami. Presently Upen has bagged some big campaigns like Wendell Rodricks, Vikram Ph dnis and Westside where he is teamed with Yuvraj Singh. He has participated in LIFW in 2003 for JJ Valaya, this was when he got his first break. He has also done shows for Rohit Bal, Rocky S. He has already made a mark in Bollywood with the film 36 China Town which also starred Sahid Kapur, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Khanna.

Tanisheha’s first movie under the direction of Ram Gopal Verma was ‘Sarkar’, which was a hit film. It starred Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan whom she was paired with and Katrina Kaif. She has even done a Tamil movie opposite newcome Vinay Rai, the name of the movie was ‘Unnale Unnale’, the movie was a big success at the box office. Dia Mirza is an accomplished Indian model and also a celebrated actress of Bollywood. Dia was the second runner up in the Miss India 2000 beauty contest and was also crowned the Miss Asia Pacific for the same year in Manila. Born on 9th December, 1981in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, Dia attended Vidyaranya High School For Boys And Girls, a school based on the teachings of Krishnamurti, and later Naes School in Kushnuma. This 5’ 6” tall beauty made her debut in the film ‘Rehna Hai Terea Dil Mein’ opposite R. Madhvan which got her career rolling although the film did not prove to be a big hit. Dia prefers eating chocolates and her favorite dishes include Italian Pasta and Hyderabadi Biriyani. Dia can speak Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, English and Telugu proficiently. In the Miss India, where she was a runner up, she had also won the Miss Beautiful Smile title. Dia Mirza is the second Indian contestant to be crowned Miss Asia Pacific, and has remained the first in twenty-nine years. She has always been independent and is a fitness freak.
