Of late, certain wines that were earlier available in the market with approximately 12 percent alcohol are now being sold with 14-16.5 percent alcohol. This increase has been credited to the use of very ripe fruit. This helps produce wine, which is richer in flavor. Consequently, the use of ripe fruit ensures that increased alcohol is produced when the grapes are fermented.

You should know that most red wines have a higher alcohol content as compared to white wines. However, this is not an absolute parameter and there are variances. Alcoholic content in wine is dependent upon the ripeness of the fruit. The ripest grapes have the highest sugar content. During fermentation, the sugar content gets converted to alcohol.

Usually, grapes that are used to make red wines are picked when they are riper than those used to make white wine. The sugar content, wine making technique and character of the fruit determine alcoholic percentage. You can check all wine bottle labels to know it’s a wine’s alcohol content. Wine enthusiasts should be aware that all labels are not alcohol and the printed content may either be 1.5% below or above the actual level. This is not an offense as laws permit such flexibility.

Sanjay Dutt : Mr Munna Bhai

Sanjay Dutt, the son of the veteran actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis is one of the most successful and loved actors of the Indian film industry. Sanjay made his first appearance in film at the age of 12 as ‘qawali’ singer in his father’s film ‘Reshma Aur Shera’. He was born on 29th July in 1959 and started acting in the 1980s. Sanjay Dutt’s first release was ‘Rocky’ in the year 1981 which was directed by his father Sunil Dutt and was paired opposite Tina Munim. He is one actor of Bollywood who has gone through lots of ups and downs in his personal and professional life. Ritu Beri: From Mumbai to London.
One of the leading female fashion designers in India is Ritu Beri, a name known to all fashion alerts. In the year 1987, Ritu completed her graduation from the Delhi University. During this interval which followed she was motivated to do something and she started designing outfits for herself and later created clothes for her friends. The year 1995 marked for Ritu for her launching of the brand ‘SANSKRITI’. She had divided her collection into 4 sequences and her creations were the outcome of the vivacious Indian cultural heritage. The only Indian fashion designers to be featured in promostyl’s magazine ‘Acustyl’ which forecasts fashion trends worldwide is Ritu Beri. She has written a personal fashion book, ‘101 Ways to Look Good’. Ritu has introduced her new unique line of animal styled products range called ‘Caring means sharing’. The collection comprises T-shirts, caps, stuffed toys, jugs, notepads, posters, postcards, pens and key chains. Ritu is the first and the only Indian designer to present her creations at “la semaine de la haute couture” in Paris.

Dino Morea: The stud!

Dino Morea was born to Indian mother and an Italian father. He has remained a supermodel and was very much popular and renowned as a model. His debut movie was originally ‘Moksha’ but it was released after ‘Pyaar, Ishq Aur Mohabbat’. Arjun’s other films include ‘Aankhen’, ‘Dil Hai Tumhaara’, ‘Yakeen’ and’Ek Ajnabee’. He has even done supporting role in films like ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and ‘Don – The Chase Begins Again’. His next big release will be ‘The Last Lear’. Bollywood at US theatres

Under the brand name Big, Reliance Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (REPL) has put up its socks to start a film chain in US from the next month. The company has claimed that the more than 200 theatres will show both Hindi and regional films particularly from South India. According to a company official who has confirmed the schedule, renovating and refitting of the cinemas that have been acquired is being done and announcement will be done formally about the opening of the theatre later.

The information states that Reliance Entertainment has acquired over 200 cinema halls in 28 North American cities which include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit and Washington in the last one year. These theatres will have the company’s name Big instead of Adlabs by which REPL’s cinemas in India are called. An American theatre management firm has been bought by REPL for overseeing the operations of its Big cinema chains. As REPL is in the task of producing Hindi movies and other in other regional movies under the Big Pictures banner, it may also get into distributing movies overseas for its outlets exhibition in foreign countries will help it fix up its distribution venture. It will also screen other Asian countries movies for those not living in their respective countries. Both the mainstream Hollywood movie and art house productions and movies which are made by the independent producer that will be screened will add to the glory of the brand of the Big cinemas. Screening Indian movies will help in making good profit from the US box office.
