Sarah Jane: the next big thing

One of the newest girls to hit the ramp is Sarah Jane Dias. A Mumbai based Indian model, and a former VJ of Channel V, she won the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2007 title. She did her schooling up to class X from Indian School Wadi Al Kabir, and her plus two from Indian School Muscat. Her father, Eustace Dias is a marketing manager with Oilfields Supply Centre in Muscat.

At the age of 14 in 1997, she won the Miss India Oman title, which was sponsored by the Times of India. Sarah-Jane Dias was trained to be a model under Atul Kelkar. She won a talent hunt contest on TV when she was 21 years of age. This gave her a chance to host a show of Channel V. In ‘On The Run’, which is travel show of Channel V, she was first noticed as a guest. A well known face in the glamour industry, she hosted the show of ‘Get Gorgeous’, supermodel hunt on Channel V. She had always dreamt of winning the Miss India crown, which became true in 2007.

This confident model is interested in building a career in the field of music and food. Her voice and the capability to talk to anyone adds to her powerful personality. She will soon step in Bollywood with her film ‘Brides Wanted’ directed by Girish Acharya. This famous model wishes to travel around the world. She is a prominent name of the glamour industry.
