Minnisha Lamba is the new face in the film industry. This pretty girl hails from a Punjabi speaking Sikh family. She was born on 1st January in New Delhi. This Indian actress is well-placed in Bolywood. Minnisha has done majors in English and her education is from Miranda House, Delhi. She never wanted to act in films and had the intention of completing her education and then concentrate in the academic career. With her academic career in place she had also hoped to do modeling.
During her graduation years she has tried to get a foothold in the modeling industry. Unexpectedly she got her first break in the advertisement of Cadbury’s dairy milk. Then she went on to many more television commercials for instance LG, Sony, Hakmola, Airtel, Sunsilk and numerous others. Minnisha Lamba’s father is into hospitality business, which gave her the opportunity to travel over the world and also meet different people.
This new popular face of Bollywood appeared in the movie ‘Yahaan’ which is Minnisha Lamba’s debut film. This movie was directed by Shoojit Sircar and it also stars Jimi Shergill. Minnisha was appreciated for her acting; she has given a graceful performance in the film. The role of Kate Winslet in the famous movie ‘Titanic’ is Minnisha’s dream role.
