The lady who has a killer look and a million dollar smile is none other than our very own Madhuri Dixit. She is the most talented actress of the film industry of India. She has ruled Bollywood with her extraordinary acting skills throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Madhuri is both a wonderful actor and an accomplished dancer. She has appeared in innumerable films and has delivered outstanding performances. She was awarded with ‘Padma Shri’ in the year 2008. Madhuri made her debut in the movie ‘Abodh’ in 1984. With the film ‘Tehzaab’ in 1988 where she was paired opposite Anil Kapoor, Madhuri shot to fame. Then she went on to appear in other hit films like ‘Raam Lakhan’ , ‘Beta’ , ‘Dil’, ‘Parinda’, and ‘Tridev’.
The Sooraj Barjatya directed movie ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ where Madhuri was paired opposite Salman Khan is one of the biggest hits of all times. She has won many awards by far, and her first ‘Filmfare’ award for the film ‘Dil’ in the ‘Best Actor Female’ category. On Women’s International Day in 2007, Madhuri Dixit was topped the Rediff’s list of the Best Bollywood Actresses Ever. After she was married to Dr. Nene in 1999, she bid goodbye to Bollywood but came back last year with the film ‘Aja Nachle’. The film though did not fare well at the box office, it yet again proved Madhuri’s both acting and dancing skills. It also sent the message that the era of Madhuri Dixit is not yet over.
