A promising Kunal Khemu

One of the most promising upcoming actors of Bollywood is definitely Kunal Khemu. Kunal who was born on 25th May, 1983 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir was a popular child artist. Kunal was student of Niranjanlal Dalmia High School and had graduated from Narsee Monjee College in Mumbai. His childhood was spent in Mira Road which is a suburb outside Mumbai. Kunal was both good at studies and at soprts.
Kuanl started his acting career in 1987 as child artist in the television serial ‘Gul Gulshan Gulfam’. Later on, Kunal appeared in films and his first film was ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke’ which came in the year 1993. In this 93 superhit, Kunal appeared as a child artist and he played the role of nephew of the lead actor Aamir Khan. He has done a number of films as a child actor, the popular one include ‘Raja Hindustani’ in 1996 again with Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor and ‘Zakhm’ which was released in1998, here he played the young Ajay Devgan. For the latter one, Kunal had received praises by both the audiences and the critics. His debut movie as a leading actor was ‘Kalyug’ which came in the year 2005.
The film was both critically and commercially successful. The movie was directed by Mohit Suri. His other films include Madhur Bhandarkar directed ‘Traffic Signal’, ‘Dhol’ and ‘Superstar’. Kunal is now all set to act in an English Bollywood movie ‘When Harry Tried to Marry’ which will be directed by Nayan Pandrai.
