Amisha Patel

Beautiful, attractive, a first film wonder , Who is she? She is none other than Amisha Patel. She is the grand daughter of Indian freedom fighter, lawyer and former justice Rajni Patel. She has obtained a degree in Economics from Tufts University , USA and also won a gold medal in Economics paper at her university. Inspite of hailing from an illustrious lineage and having a strong educational background Amisha chose stardom over academics.

This petite and beautiful girl got her first break in Rakesh Roshans “Kaho na pyaar hain” and she became a star overnight. Her other big hits are Gaddar and Bhool Bhulaiya. Although she delivered some subsequent hits but the magical spell on the audience seems to be lost after her first movie. Of late her personal life has attracted more attention than her movies in the box office. It is marred with misunderstandings following a tiff with her family. She is currently dating director Vikram Bhatt who is twice her age. She hits the headlines and the fashion magazines for all the wrong reasons. She recently topped one of the fashion magazines chart as the most badly dressed Indian actress .
An industry, which is ruled, by glamorous looking queens and potentially talented actors she certainly needs to create her own style. Otherwise she will be lost in this world of showbiz and stardom. Probably the academic gown may look better on her rather than the tinsel makeup of BOLLYWOOD.
