Made for the stars: Tusshar Kapoor. This Sagittarian is the son of actor Jeetendra, is famously known as the ‘jumping jack’ of Bollywood. Like his father, Tusshar Kapoor has also joined the big league of Bollywood actors. Tusshar Kapoor was born on November 24, 1976 and has studied at the University of Michigan. His sister Ekta Kapoor is the creative head of Balaji Films, which produces numerous popular soaps that come on Indian television. Tusshar Kapoor made his debut in the year 2001 with the film ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’. He was paired opposite Kareena Kapoor who is also the daughter of yesteryear actors – Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. The film was huge box office hit and the film earned Tusshar to fetch his first award ‘Filmfare Best Male Debut Award’. He has shared the screen with his father in the thriller ‘Kuch To Hai’ in the year 2003. The film ‘Gayab’ which was released in the year 2004 gave Tusshar criticail acclaim. Tusshar Kapoor gave powerful performance in the movie ‘Khakee’ which was released in 2004 and also had Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. Though the film was moderately successful in the box office , he was highly appreciated b the critics.
